Sand Siloli Candle

The hand-blown glass of Siloli candles features shades of beige and brown, with horizontal lines formed by small, random organic spots. Each glass is unique, as the sandy color dissolves into the material according to the glassblower's breath.The dry woody fragrance of cedar and tonka bean takes us to the wide-open spaces of an equatorial climate, with a touch of lime to give this fragrance an unusual fresh-ness. The sophistication of the olfactory materials is in perfect harmony with that of the glass, striking a beautiful balance between decorative and perfumed object.

Each time the candle is burnt, it is important to wait until the entire surface liquefies before extinguishing the candle. This will prevent the formation of craters which are unattractive and make burning more difficult. The first time you light your candle, it will always burn for longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely. The length of time this takes varies depending on the size of the candle.

Never burn the last 1cm (1/2 inch) of wax to avoid flames burning against the glass.
